Traditional classroom offers you an interactive setting with other students and the instructor who employs unique teaching techniques such as lecture, power point presentations, DVD presentations, white board, group activities and even games.
 
Online courses allow you to study at your own pace. You will still be able to ask an instructor questions if you need additional help. On Line Courses are best suited for those students who are computer/internet-comfortable and own or use newer computers. The course is totally internet-based with all text online with no textbook. You may work at your own pace and access your course at any computer. You have a year to complete the course unless course states otherwise.

Video Conference Courses
Video Conference courses are a form of distance learning. In this form, the television is used to display the video and audio of an instructor teaching a live class at a remote location. The instructor can simultaneously view and speak interactively with the classroom and students at the remote location. This allows courses to be taught at locations that are not practical to send an instructor too. We are currently offering Video Conference courses in Melbourne, Ocala, and Daytona Beach, FL.
 
CD-ROM Courses
CD-ROM courses are available now for you if you want to take the course at your own pace at your own computer. This CD ROM may be used on slower computers. Please check the system requirements. This CD ROM contains all the text and information you need, no book required.
 
CD-Rom Courses are designed for:
Students who do not have the most updated computer equipment
Students who will work from one computer location
With both the On-Line and CD-ROM courses you have the availability of instructor/student assistance covering content questions. Technical assistance is only a phone call away.

· AOL, Earthlink & Compuserve dial-up users should minimize their  connection window and launch Microsoft Internet Explorer from the Start button in order to use the standard, supported Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

Correspondence Courses
Correspondence courses are the quickest and easiest method to complete continuing education requirements. The text may be picked up or sent to you and once you have completed the course you mail or fax your test answer sheet or affidavit to our office and we send you a completion certificate.
 
 
 
The State of Florida, Division of Real Estate requires each applicant to submit an application that must be completed in its entirety. 
Online application: License Applications Online
Printable application:  Application Packets
You must include a check or money order made payable to DBPR-Division of Real Estate for the amount of $105 for sales associates, $115 for brokers. The application approval process takes approximately (4) four to (6) six weeks to complete. Many students complete the application before beginning their required education. The DBPR also requires that you submit fingerprints electronically. The cost for this process is $61 and the fingerprints can be taken at any Promissor location throughout Florida. Applicants can make a reservation by visiting the Promissor website at www. Promissor.com or contacting Promissor at 1.877.238.8232. If you have any questions pertaining to the State application you must contact the DBPR at 1-850-487-1395 or log onto www.myflorida.com. Once you have been approved by the State and you have completed the required education you are ready to schedule the state exam. You may track the status of your application at www.myfloridalicense.com. The state exam is offered at various testing sites throughout the state. The cost of the test is $31.50. You must present your course completion certificate at the exam site.

REFUND POLICY FOR ON-LINE AND CD-ROM COURSES AND PRODUCTS
Once a course has been started or the package has been opened, there will be NO refund.
If you order books, CDs or other material through RECampus bookstore and wish to return an item, you will need to enclose the packing slip you received with your original order and return to the address below. Items must be returned within 30 days of shipping date and in “original” condition. Software or audio CDs may be returned only if the packages have NOT been opened.

You may decide that the distance learning is not meeting your needs and want to transfer into a classroom course. If we have a location that will accommodate your needs we will accept transfers.
